41% better ROAS than the original e-commerce store's campaigns

Introduction

We took 40 of our largest e-commerce stores with different assortments, which have spent more than 1,7 milion EUR in advertising over the past 12 months, and compared their results in Tanganica with those from their own campaigns. To simplify the calculations and make the results more relevant, we only compared advertising investments on Google. Unfortunately, data from e-commerce store campaigns also contain data from brand campaigns, which we do not have in Tanganica and which slightly affect the results.

This is what the results looked like in the first month:

ROAS in Tanganica: 860%

ROAS of own store campaigns: 505%

For greater relevance of the results, we calculated not only the classical average but also the average weighted by advertising expenses. To our surprise, it turned out that the campaigns that the stores launch in Tanganica have a 41.54% better weighted ROAS than their own campaigns. If we look only at the classical average, there is also an improvement here, but by only 20.18%. The consequence of this is that the e-commerce store saves advertising costs and generates high quality conversion traffic.

Why is that?

With us in Tanganica, we have the highest quality advertising accounts and each of our professionals takes care of the advertising formats and algorithms in order to deliver the greatest performance to the store. One of our core values is quality, which we strive to deliver with all our might. Google CSS program, which we partner in, not only saves up to 20% of the cost of Google purchases (unofficial information), but also helps to get more impressions. At the same time, we correct some product data in product feeds and receive as many products as possible in advertising. Practically, this means that even previously rejected bestsellers have a chance to get into advertising.

We took the 40 largest e-shops in Tanganica.com and compared their own campaigns to Tanganica's campaigns. The result? 41% better performance.
